About Zimco Group

The Zimco Group is South Africa's leading producer of lead (Pb) and lead products and industrial and base minerals, a major producer and supplier of zinc, aluminium metal and alloys, related chemicals and engineering plastics. Zimco is wholly owned by Eco-Bat, a US based multinational engaged in the production of secondary lead (Pb) and other metals with operations in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Africa and the USA.

Our Divisions

Operations of the Zimco Group are split into two broad process related divisions namely the lead (Pb) and the industrial divisions. The group is well placed to service our customer base in sub-Saharan Africa and select export markets. The groups operations maintain the highest quality (ISO9001), Health and safety (ISO45001) and environmental (ISO14001 and ISO50001) standards and maintain competitive advantage through a continuous improvement philosophy and appropriate technology choices.
